Fleur blossoms in bumper
Fleur De Nuit quickened up in good fashion to take the concluding bumper at Ballinrobe tonight.
3/1 favourite Glibin hit the front turning for home but was picked off in good style inside the final furlong by Fleur De Nuit.
John Bleahen 's charge found a nice turn of foot, when asked by Mikey Fogarty, to record a two-length victory.
"She's always worked super at home," said Bleahen afterwards.
"She had been awful keen and we were dropping her out in previous races but we tried to keep her a bit closer to the pace today.
"Mikey thinks we should go for a winners bumper but I'm more inclined to run on the Flat - there is a 1m6f race for her at Leopardstown."
