Flashback to last win, one year on
The Pat Flynn trained Final Flashback recorded his first win since this day last year when taking the Madra Dog Foods Handicap at Tramore this evening, providing jockey Danny Grant with a double.
Successful in the Claiming Race at last year’s Tramore Festival, the son of Singspiel’s rating had fallen from 84 then to his current mark of 77 and had little difficulty easily accounting for five rivals today, scoring an effortless 14 lengths win over Spirit Diamond
Afterwards Flynn said “that was a nice win. He is a fair oul’ galloper but has to have good ground. He’s declared for a maiden hurdle here tomorrow and we’ll see how he is in the morning before making a decision on whether to run.”
