The market spoke loudly for Flag Of Honour in the concluding seven furlong maiden at Naas and he duly did the business in good style.
The Galileo colt had finished ninth on his debut over course and distance ten days ago and showed considerable improvement.
Backed from 2/1 this morning into 4/6 favourite the Ballydoyle colt was produced to lead over a furlong from home by Seamie Heffernan.
He soon settled matters and went on to post a cosy four-and-a-half length victory over Dermot Weld's newcomer Jewel Maker
Heffernan said:- "He was very green here last week. I couldn't believe he was so short but he's won like a favourite should win. He's a little bit nervy but he has an engine."
