Finish makes winning chase debut
For A Finish stormed home on the run-in to make a winning debut over fences in the beginners chase at Kilbeggan.
Paul Townend 's mount only got going in the closing stages to record a half-length victory over Mulberry Boy close home.
"He's going to be a grand staying chaser. He was on his head the whole way. He needs further and a galloping track," said winning trainer Eoin Doyle.
"It was his first run over fences and he jumped a little bit carefully but it's an easy place to start them off over fences.
"He might go to Listowel and we'll look for something over a little bit further for him."
