Fella spells more woe for bookmakers
Good Fella was the fourth successful favourite on the afternoon at Fairyhouse, backed from 11/10 to 9/10 before taking the Bambury Bookmakers-sponsored beginners chase for father and son Paddy and Martin Mooney.
The eight-year-old gelding came from a good bit off the pace but stayed on well from two out to eventually score by 11 lengths from Sizing America
'Martin said he was never travelling but he's got a good old heart. Hopefully the handicapper won't be too hard on him,' commented Mooney senior.
