Father Shines in Kilbeggan bumper
Father Shine ran out an impressive winner of the bumper as Kilbeggan drew the curtains on their final meeting of 2010.
Ross O'Sullivan 's mount was always travelling well and hit the front two furlongs from home.
He never had a moments worry from there as he went on for a cosy five-and-a-half length win over 15/8f Emmas Island
"I only have him four months. He's had injury problems and I'm very grateful to the owners for sending him to me," said winning trainer Michael Fitzsimons.
"I've just moved into new premises recently in Tankarstown near Navan and it's a great boost to me.
"He can only go right handed. We had hoped to go to Listowel but can't. He'll probably go hurdling now.
"He needs that ground and if it changed we would put him away for a while."
