Home Farm galloped his rivals into submission as Davy Russell completed a treble at Thurles this afternoon.
Arthur Moore 's charge made all to run out a comprehensive winner of the Cashel Maiden Hurdle.
The Presenting gelding was left clear when the well-backed Legal Exit (7/2 into 5/2), who had been ridden to get into contention, fell two out. Admiral Hawke was slightly hampered by the faller and soon had no chance with the winner, who was driven clear.
Home Farm went on to record a 17-length victory. The former point-to-point winner was sent off a 7/1 shot (from 9/1) after finishing mid-division in two starts over timber last year.
"That's job done," said Moore afterwards.
"I wanted to get that out of the way before he goes chasing. He had a slight problem after Leopardstown and we left him alone then.
"He'll go chasing now and should make a nice chaser in time. We decided to give him a run over hurdles for his confidence. It was always the plan to just have one hurdle run."
Moore also added that Russell had ridden a Cheltenham winner for owner Chris Jones on Tiger Cry (Grand Annual 2008).
7/4 favourite Dale Street who was pulled up before two out, was found to have burst a blood vessel.
