Fantasy reversed the form with Rita Levi as she made all in the opener at Navan this afternoon, the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden.
Fifth over the course and distance last month, with Rita Levi in second, the Aidan O'Brien trained victor was since second at Naas, before finishing a respectable fifth in a Listed contest at Tipperary on her last start.
Sent off at 5/1 today, the daughter of Invincible Spirit made all, and was ridden from over a furlong out, keeping on well from there to score by a length and three parts under Michael Hussey.
Rita Levi, who was sent off the 4/9 favourite, had no excuses in second, with Colin Keane aboard this one for Ger Lyons.
The John McConnell trained Rockview Spirit (25/1) was another half a length back in third.
"She broke well and kept going well. Aidan just said to bounce her out and bowl along and she's made every post a winning post," said Hussey.
"She has plenty of pace and she'll step up again. Five is her trip, she'll maybe get six. She enjoyed the ground and kept going well.
"She had good form coming into it so had every chance to win it."
STEWARDS REPORTS
The Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages of this race involving Golden Eye Diamond (GB), ridden by Adrian O'Shea, Rita Levi, ridden by C.T. Keane, and Rockview Spirit (GB) ridden by S. Foley, where it appeared that Golden Eye Diamond ran short of room and checked. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that any interference was accidental in nature and therefore took no further action.
E.J. McNamara, rider of Isle Of Innisfree (USA), trained by A.P.O'Brien, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount lost its action and eased up thereafter.
D.P. McDonogh, rider of Treasure Vale trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung right.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Isle Of Innisfree (USA), trained by A.P.O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have pulled its left fore shoe in running and suffered an overreach.
