- Fame takes Glory once again
Fame takes Glory once again
Coronation Cup winner Fame & Glory recorded his fourth win on the trot when claiming the Keeneland Royal Whip Group 2 Stakes making it a quick double for trainer Aidan O’Brien and jockey Johnny Murtagh.
Murtagh sent the 1/12 favourite to the front under a furlong out and kept on well for a three and a half length win over stable mates Dixie Music and Grand Admiral
Winning trainer O’Brien said afterwards: “It’s good to get him started back again, we gave him a mid-season break.”
“His next run could be in the Irish Champion Stakes at Leopardstown or the Arc Trial at Longchamp.”
“After that we’ll have a look at the Prix de L’Arc de Triomphe. He has progressed well all season and his performance here in the Tattersalls Stakes was very good.” Fame And Glory #8217;s price for the Arc remains unchanged with both Ladbrokes (3/1) and Boylesports (5/2).
