Fame And Glory terrific in Tatts Gold Cup
Last year's Irish Derby winner Fame And Glory ran out the easy winner seven lengths winner of the Group 1 Tattersalls Gold Cup at The Curragh today, confirming his well-being for his Coronation Cup bid next.
The son of Montjeu chased stablemate and pacemaker Dixie Music before easily moving to the front over two furlongs out, eventually staying on for his easy win over Recharge
Afterwards O'Brien stated “Fame And Glory has been coming forward very well and is very uncomplicated over that mile and a quarter. He'll run in the Coronation Cup next at Royal Ascot, and while it is a quick bounce back for him, he is really 'there' now and everything has come alight for him.”
