Fame And Glory on track for Epsom
Fame And Glory retained his unbeaten record when defying a 5LBs Group 1 penalty in the P.W. McGrath Memorial Ballysax Stakes at Leopardstown.
The son of Montjeu travelled particularly well on this, his seasonal debut and eventually ran out a comfortable one length winner.
Winning trainer Aidan O'Brien said: "I am delighted with that performance, he should improve a good deal from this run as all of mine are. We may come back her for the Derrinstown, but that is just one of our options."
The winner was quoted at 12/1 for the Epsom Classic by Paddy Power Bookmakers directly after the race, but was subsequently shortened to 10/1 and then 8/1 following sustained support.
