Fame And Glory new favourite for Epsom Derby
The Aidan O'Brien trained Fame And Glory retained his unbeaten record when running out a very easy 5 lengths winner of the Group 3 Derrinstown Stud Derby Trial Stakes at Leopardstown.
All the major bookmaking firms shortened the colt for the Investec Epsom Derby following his performance and William Hill now make him their clear 5/2 favourite from 6/1.
Winning owner John Magnier is taking nothing for granted; "Seamus was impressed with him as I am sure most were, but we have to keep him healthy from now until Epsom."
Chief market rival Mourayan did not look happy at any stage and came off the bridle fully five furlongs from home, eventually taking second place from Fergus McIver
