The Cork Racecourse Handicap was a typically well-contested big field sprint and Falcao (11s into 8s) came home best to triumph for Eddie Lynam and Robbie Downey.
The first four pulled two and a quarter lengths clear and at the finish Falcao (loaded without rider and fly leapt from stalls) prevailed by a length and a quarter and a neck twice from Mr Bounty Fast In The Wind and Cappadocia
Lynam's wife Aileen later tweeted a picture of Downey on @lynam_aileen with the hash tag BabyFacedAssassin.
