Sam Ewing deputised for the injured Jack Kennedy on impressive winner Shecouldbeanything in the Ballygarry Estate Hotel & Spa Mares Novice Chase at Listowel.
With the champion jockey forced to miss the ride following a fall earlier in the afternoon, Ewing made the most of the spare mount on the well fancied 1/1f market leader.
Tracking pace setter Sainte Dona throughout, Ewing moved up to lead entering the straight with two fences to jump.
As the latter weakened, Pink In The Park went second but the Willie Mullins trained mare could never bridge the gap on the six-and-a-half-length winner.
Sam Ewing said: “She did it well. She's a tough mare, enjoyed the ground, and she jumped very well.
“I was lucky to get the ride on her, obviously Jack got hurt earlier and hopefully he's okay.
“Gordon told me to be second or third, handy away. She's so straightforward and I was just a passenger.
“She's a fairly high class hurdler and hopefully she can win some nice chases in the future.”
