Enda Bolger's Everlastingpromise was the facile winner of the Grade B handicap chase in Killarney.
Darragh O'Keeffe send him into the lead past Ornua on the run to the third last. The latter soon came under pressure as Everlastingpromise tanked along.
He popped three out and readily moved clear. Ornua could offer no more in second and dropped to third before the final fence as Smithscorner passed him.
By this time Everlastingpromise had flown and came in, eased down, by an easy 13 lengths at 3/1.
Smithscorner kept on for second at 22/1 and was five lengths in front of Ornua (8/1).
Darragh O'Keeffe said: "He was really good. he jumped really well, he travelled great. He had one little mistake down the back but other than that he was really, really good.
"He's the ideal candidate for around these tracks because he jumps and he travels. He did it very well.
"We went a good gallop but I was always happy, he was jumping so well. He winged the fourth last and he had the inside then."
