Gordon Elliott completed a first and last race Navan double when under Jamie Codd Eskylane (8/11 into 8/15) took the Only 1000 RacingTV Trials Available (Pro/Am) INH Flat Race at his ease.
He carried the Wilson Dennison colours when second in a good bumper at Fairyhouse in November and here going for owner Kenny Haughey the Flemensfirth gelding added to earlier point-to-point gains.
Following on from stable companion Floueur rsquo;s win at the start of the programme, Eskylane made all, and he was pressed three and a half furlongs out.
Asserting a furlong and a half out, the six-year-old was soon clear, shaken up briefly inside the final furlong, to easily defeat Don’t Tell Allen by eight and a half lengths.
"He is a grand big galloping horse and is a chaser for next year really,” said Elliott.
"He is a big weak horse and we'll probably keep him to bumpers and give him one more run this year."
