Fizzical completed a quick double for Fozzy Stack and Mark Enright when getting up close home to land the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden at Limerick.
The daughter of Starspangledbanner, making her racecourse debut, needed every yard of the mile, as she got to Sareeha right on the line. Shamiyana had led the field for most of the race, breaking smartly from her wide draw and putting her rivals to the sword.
At one point, it looked as though Donagh O'Connor had done enough on the Dermot Weld trained filly.
However, first Sareeha and finally, Fizzical got to the front as the lead changed hands three times inside the last furlong.
Mark Enright said; "she was very good and is a nice filly. She had been showing us plenty at home and did plenty wrong there, was a bit slowly away and got lit up after a furlong but I'm very happy.
"She can be a little hot and wore a red hood beforehand but in fairness Sean Hennessy, the head man who rides her out, is a good horseman and came - I love to see him at the races!
"I think she is a nice filly going forward and it was a good performance."
