The Aidan Howard trained End Play (20/1) readily beat eight rivals, including the President’s Aimhirgin Lass when taking the Pride Of Tipperary Festival 2016 Fillies Handicap at Tipperary today.
End Play, scoring her second win under regular jockey Leigh Roche. went clear of her rivals with a furlong to race and in the end proved two and a half lengths too strong for 5/4 favourite Aimhirgin Lass.
Afterwards Howard stated “the rain came in time and I fancied her today with the ground and trip suiting her. She’ll have a little break now and might go to Galway and could also go for a Listed race in the Autumn.”
