End Of The Affair wins at Wexford
Co Meath trainer Vincent Ward made the journey worth while when saddling the ex Dermot Weld charge End Of The Affair to win The Derrinstown Stud Apprentice in great style under apprentice Ben Curtis.
Winning trainer Ward said afterwards, "We were lucky to get here, our box broke down just coming into Bunclody and we had to load our mare into Conor O'Dwyer's box. But it was all worthwhile in the end and Ben gave her a super ride. I have 4 horses in training all ex Weld horses and we'll aim her for a novice hurdle next."
