Emrani storms home in last
Fran Berry completed a first and last race double when Emrani stormed home to land the concluding mile-and-a-quarter handicap at Dundalk.
The John Oxx-trained Aga Khan gelding got into his stride in the final furlong to get the better of Enjoy Your Life by half a length.
"He had a bit to do turning in but stayed on well," said Berry afterwards.
"He didn't travel well turning in but stamina got him there. He could go a mile-and-a-half in time. The surface is important to him as he wants quick ground."
Berry had struck in the opening juvenile maiden aboard the Jessica Harrington-trained Moment Of Weakness
