Elliott in double form
Trainer Gordan Elliott and owner James Marrow completed a quick double at Laytown this afternoon when winning The Hibernia Steel (Q.R) Handicap with Nina Carberry doing the steering.
Elliott said afterwards, "That was the plan he was bought to race on the beach. He ran a nice race at Bellewstown and I was glad to have a winner for the owner James Morrow who is from Portaferry Co Down."
The first leg of Elliott and Morrow's double came in the previous race with Silidan with Declan McDonogh in saddle.
