Trainer Gordon Elliott and owners Gigginstown House Stud completed notable Fairyhouse doubles today, with impressive Koktail Brut (15/8) completing the feat in the concluding Bar One Racing "Bet Builder On Self Service Betting Terminals" Bumper.
Previously trained by Pat Turley and a €250,000 purchase following an April point-to-point success, the son of Cokoriko travelled well under Harry Swan in today's race and was tipping along passing the winning line, finishing seven lengths clear of runner-up Mossy Way
Elliott, whose Gigginstown-owned Croke Park earlier won the top-level Drinmore Chase, reported “Koktail Brut is a nice horse. We thought we had a few nice ones at home and that was a good performance. He's a bit faster than his half-brother Gevrey and shows a bit of class.
“I'd imagine we'll look for a graded bumper.”
