Eightybarackstreet scores for the Coopers
There was a father and son success in the Richard Power Handicap Hurdle at Tramore as Eightybarackstreet struck.
There was plenty of drama in the race with Charger crashing out early and well-backed 13/8 favourite Pozyc almost slipping up on the top bend.
Eightybarackstreet had a lovely run to pick it up going to the last, however, and stayed on well in the closing stages to score by two-lengths from Knockcroghery
Bryan Cooper is enjoying a fine summer and teamed up with his father Tom.
"We thought he was very good after he won his bumper but he's had a lot of problems," said Cooper junior afterwards.
"He's back to himself now and is open to improvement."
