Eight is the magic Number
The Gordon Elliott trained Eight Is My Number landed a morning gamble (11/4 into 6/4f) to easily win the Inistioge Maiden Hurdle at Gowran today.
Ridden by Paul Carberry, the son of Milan moved to the front from two out before staying on well for an eased right down for an easy seven lengths win over Taraval
Afterwards Elliott stated “Eight Is My Number is a real old fashioned type of horse and will make a smashing chaser next season. He’ll have one more run over hurdles, in a £10,000 race at Perth in three or four weeks time.”
The win was Elliott's 60th winner in Ireland this season.
