Egan suspension
The Stewards enquired into an incident soon after the start of this race involving Gilbertstown Lass ridden by John Egan, Milvian Bridge ridden by Declan McDonagh, Cognomen ridden by Kieran O’Neill, and Be Gentle ridden by Danny Grant where it appeared that Milvian Bridge checked and lost ground.
Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the video of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that John Egan was guilty of careless riding and therefore suspended him for 2 race days.
