Thomas Edison stormed home inside the final furlong to snatch victory on the line in the mile-and-a-half handicap at the Curragh.
Fran Berry, carrying the colours of JP McManus, was registering a quick double having partnered Booker to success for McManus' daughter Sue-Ann Foley in the previous race.
Little Rocky looked the likely winner when kicking on from front-runner Whatuthink early in the straight.
Thomas Edison and Taglietelle both took closer order from over a furlong out and stayed on well in the closing stages.
It was the Tony Martin-trained Thomas Edison who got his head in front at the death to deny Little Rocky by a nose with just a neck back to Taglietelle.
“He's been knocking on the door for quite a while,” said Martin afterwards.
“We'll see how he comes out of this and we'll find another handicap. It could be over hurdles or on the Flat.”
