Ebeko (16/5) broke very smartly in the Foran Equine Irish EBF Auction Race and Billy Lee let him bowl along in front.
He had his rivals in trouble from early in the straight, and although 7/4 favourite State Of Rest closed in the final furlong the leader was never really threatened and scored by a length.
The winning colt by Awtaad cost £20,000 as a yearling and took full advantage of a 13lbs weight concession from the runner-up.
Ebeko’s success paid a compliment to Cadillac who had left him nine lengths behind in second over the course and distance earlier this month.
Winning trainer Paddy Twomey said: “He has progressed from run to run.
“That's a big pot and it's a fabulous series to have. He got €30,000 there today with the plus ten so it's a great incentive. It's great to win with him.”
When asked if it was the plan to make all he added: “He jumped out and was in front, he's pretty straight-forward.
“We'll see what happens with him now.”
