Ebashan breaks his duck
The John Oxx trained Ebashan runner-up on all four starts as a two-year-old went one place better in some style at Leopardstown this evening.
The colt won easily by two lengths on this his seasonal debut. Dermot Weld's Tirunesh stepped up on her debut effort to take second with the well-backed Viceroy Of India a further three-lengths back in third.
Jimmy (Slim) O'Neill, assistant to John Oxx said: "He tended to race very keenly last year, but settled much better here. He seems adaptable ground wise."
