Space Tourist made all and ran out an easy winner of the Regeneron 'Day At The Races' Mares' Maiden Hurdle.

Previously trained by Jonathan Fogarty, the Jet Away bay was successful on debut for Willie Mullins in a bumper at Tramore last August.

She since finished third to Corbetts Cross at Cork in October and back over flights this evening, she was sent off the clear 4/6 favourite under Patrick Mullins.

Soon in front, she jumped to her left at times and was briefly distracted by a loose horse on the run to the fifth.

Owned by the Yorkshire Rose Syndicate, she hardly came off the bridle and stretched clear on the run-in to score by six lengths.

The 108-rated Cash The Cheque (9/2) finished second under Conor Orr for Anthony McCann, while outsider Cullagh Pride (80/1) was another two lengths away in third.

"I ended up in front from the first. She was keen and was doing a bit too much with me the whole way," the winning rider revealed.

"The loose horse wound her up coming into the home straight and it got her out of her rhythm. If I'd have got beaten, I'd have blamed that.

"She jumped a little to her left but I wasn't losing too much ground. I'd like her to settle more and I wouldn't be afraid to come back in trip because she is keen-going.

"I think there is plenty fun to be had with her, she isn't the biggest but will jump a fence on summer tracks on good ground next year."

STEWARDS REPORTS

S.D. Torrens, rider of Cullagh Pride, trained by Seamus Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left in the straight.
