Whiskeywealth easily dismissed his seven rivals in the Core Bullion Traders Rated Novice Chase.
Third at Clonmel early in December, the Eoghan O'Grady trained bay was well-fancied to go a few places better this afternoon and was sent off the 11/8 favourite.
In second early on under Mike O’Connor, the Yeats seven-year-old improved to lead from the fourth. He quickly shot clear from the second last and went on to score easily by 15 lengths in the colours of the Eamonn Hickey & Ger Finn Partnership.
The well-supported Golf Marin (5s early, returned 9/4) filled the runner-up spot under Kevin Sexton for Tony Martin, while Bite That (10/1) was a further six-and-a-half lengths back in third.
"He loves that ground and has plenty of experience over fences," O'Grady said.
"He has won on this ground before and two miles might be his trip. The ground suited him and it mightn't have suited the rest of them. He'll probably go for a handicap now."
