The Jessica Harrington trained Dane Street (11/4jf) ran out the impressive winner of the Follow us on Facebook Fillies Maiden at Fairyhouse today, scoring easily by three lengths.
The daughter of Street Cry travelled well at all stages and improved to lead over a furlong out. She was merely kept on an even-keel by jockey Fran Berry in the closing stages before recording an easy win over the Dermot Weld trained pair Truthwillsetufree and eye-catching newcomer Supernovae (a lazy tip for Galway!).
Afterwards Harrington said “Dane Street is a very big filly and we need to be careful where she goes as she needs a good galloping track. She'll step up in class now.”
The winner carried the colours of Airlie Stud owner Sonia Rogers.
