- Easy for Dan Dan in Vendee
Easy for Dan Dan in Vendee
Oscar Dan Dan was a warm order in the Vendee Hurdle (7/4 to 11/10f) and ran out an impressive winner under Ruby Walsh.
The Tom Mullins-trained gelding went to the front three out and was soon in control, going on for an easy 15-length success.
"He needs a lead and the fact that Clicksnmortar went on, that's what he wants," said Mullins.
"He had to make his own pace at Navan and that's what beat him. It was also his second run today and he was fit.
"He won handy but Ruby was very good as usual. We'll see if there is another race like this or a staying hurdle.
"I had novice chasing in my head but I don't know now after that. It's probably up in the air."
