Easee for Take
Those that spotted Take It Easee make a most encouraging hurdle debut at Gowran earlier in the month, were rewarded when she bolted up in the Guinness Christmas Racing Festival Maiden Hurdle at odds of 15/8.
A daughter of Noverre, she led before the second last and she confirmed her seven length victory over second market choice, Revelling by pinging the last.
George Dobbs, husband of the winning trainer, Prunella, was on hand to greet the Sean Flanagan partnered winner and he said: "That ground really suited her and the win hasn't come as a total surprise as she is magic to jump.
"She won on the flat at Nottingham and she went very well on the heavy ground that day so that's why we're here. Prunella is in Leopardstown with Our Girl Salley and I thought I'd drawn the short straw in coming here but it has worked out great.
"The owner, David Fitzgerald is a Limerick man so that adds extra spice to the mix."
