The Get A Run For Your Money With BetVictor Handicap saw another prominent racer fending off all pursuers as Dutch Schaefer (5/1) scored under 3lb claimer Joey Sheridan.
The Denis Hogan-trained filly had won on similar terrain at Limerick earlier in the month and made all from a low draw to hold 11/8 favourite Evergreen And Red by half a length. The front pair were nicely clear of the remainder with Hot Bell (13/2) taking third spot.
“She's a tough hardy filly," said Sheridan.
"She had to do it the hard way there out in front, but then again it seems to be suiting those tactics all day.
“I was drawn two and the rest of the fancied ones were out wide, that was probably the difference.
“Noel (Hayes, of owners Genesis Thoroughbreds Club) mentioned that she might go to Galway on Monday. Noel is a gentleman and a pleasure to ride for, he's been good to me and puts me up a lot so I'm delighted to get a winner for him.”
