'Dusty' shows his strength on Little Arrows
Shane Foley (rode out his claim here but also got a 1 day ban for riding carelessly) was seen in a really good light when getting Little Arrows up to defeat Aznavour in the jogforjockeys.ie Handicap at Fairyhouse.
Aznavour looked likely to hold on under Johnny Murtagh but Little Arrows had been angled out for his run by Foley and the 3Ib claimer showed commendable strength to get the Danehill Dancer gelding up to short head his aforementioned rival.
Ken Condon trains Little Arrows for the Iona Equine Syndicate and he said: "He'd never been beyond a mile before but he finished well over a stiff mile at Naas last time and that trip (1m 2f) gives him a chance to find his feet.
"He won off 75 last year and he was off 72 today. That's his level."
Favourite here Buccaneer Bob finished fifth but he was reported to have suffered interference and had to check off heels in the home straight.
