Dunroe a Class Act
One would imagine a four-year-old mare in a big field handicap would have her work cut out on her debut in that sphere, but Dunroe Lady showed herself to be a little bit out of the ordinary when taking the williamhillcasino.com Handicap Hurdle by a convincing six lengths under her regular partner, Ian McCarthy.
Afterwards, Adrian Sexton said of his charge: "This is a very good mare, she is a real class act. Her next run will be either at Leopardstown over Christmas or she'll wait for Cheltenham in March. She is the best I have by a long shot. She hates that ground, she wants better ground and the Coral Cup is her target." (EM)
