Dunguib's half-brother lands punt
Better B Quick and Jack Kennedy are chased down by Dinnie's Vinnie (winner, red and white, Luke Dempsey)

Dunguib's half-brother, Dinnie's Vinne (25s into 9s) with a tongue-strap and blinkers deployed for the first time, added to his point-to-point win with victory in the Promote Your Business At Fairyhouse In 2016 Handicap Chase.
There were many casualties in this three miler, including the favourite, Tareesh Lane at an early stage (brought down 2nd). Carrigeen Lobelia was under pressure in second when falling two out.
Up the straight Better B Quick looked to have this in the bag but that one eventually faded into third. Dinnie's Vinnie for the in-form Philip Dempsey yard, with his son Luke in the plate, showed the greatest reserves of stamina to lead on the run-in and see off Night Sir by four lengths.
Philip Dempsey (5 of his last 7 runners under rules have won) said: "The horses are in great form and we had two point-to-point winners at the weekend that won first time out.
"This horse won a point-to-point but was then off for a year. Luke gave him a great ride. It's great to get the win today, and we'll look for something similar."
Incidentally the horse that Dinnie's Vinnie beat when landing his 'point' at Punchestown in February 2014, Ballyboker Breeze, triumphed himself today, over at Perth for Nicky Richards, Brian Harding and the Rooneys.
