Less than a length and a half covered the first seven home in the Christmas Party Nights At Dundalk Stadium Nursery Handicap (Plus 10 Race) and it was 16/1 shot Little Miss Willow that came out on top under Rory Cleary.
Several obviously still held chances until late in the day in this six furlong affair, and seventh home Magnification was blocked in his run, whilst up front Little Miss Willow touched off George Boole and Milish (a 66/1 shot) by a head and the same.
Brendan Duke has care of Little Miss Willow and he said: "I'm delighted for Gary and Sharon Davis (owners) as they bred her and really put their heart and soul into this. Their neighbour in Rosenallis (County Laois), Alastair Pim, acts as an advisor. I promised them she would win a race and this is her surface.
"She's a late May foal and there are more days in her. I'll give her a break and come back here around February."
S. Foley, rider of Magnification trained by K.J. Condon, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was tight for room inside the final furlong.
