Lord Dudley has been well supported to win the Scurry Handicap at the Curragh this afternoon.
The Kieran Cotter trained four-year-old, who was last seen when finishing fifth over course and distance last month, has been cut from 14/1 to half those odds. Magical Lagoon is a strong favourite for the feature race, the Juddmonte Irish Oaks, but both Ballydoyle fillies have attracted interest. Emily Dickinson (13/2 into 5/1) and Toy (7/1 into 6/1) have been the horses for each-way money. Holdonfordearlife is unquestionably the best backed horse on the card. An opening price of 11/1 was snapped up quickly last night and the Ken Condon trained juvenile has been backed at all prices right down to 9/4.
