Drop in trip does the trick for Arbitrageur

Arbitrageur was very popular in the market when only fifth on his previous start at Dundalk but the three-year-old put it all together to get off the mark at the seventh time of asking in the Follow Gowran Park On Facebook Maiden.
Irish Grand National winning jockey Andrew Thornton once again showed his versatility here, driving Donal Kinsella's Arbitrageur (again wasn't completely ignored in the betting at 9/2) to a neck victory over Fastidious (had attempted to make all).
Thornton said: "He had a good run at Galway (3rd to Maude Adams) even though the ground was a bit heavy for him.
"He didn't stay the mile the last day but he stuck at it well today.
"He got a nice lead and hopefully he might improve a bit more." (AM & EM)
