Dream a reality for Maguire
Anshan Dreams a promising second to Cass Bligh at Clonmel last month, went one better under a typically patient Paul Carberry ride in the six-year-old's and upwards two mile maiden hurdle.
Trained by Adrian Maguire for his wife Sabrina, the Anshan gelding swept to the front approaching the final flight and the 9/4 favourite had plenty in reserve to hold the renewed effort of Belord by half a length.
“We are thrilled with that. He wants better ground, and we were interested to see how he would handle the bit of ease here today,” said Mrs Maguire.
