Doyle wins opener aboard Junior Boss
Michael Hourigan was back in the winner's enclosure after he landed the opening race on today's card, The Laurels Bar (C&G) Maiden Hurdle with Junior Boss (25/1) under Tom Doyle in the colours of the Lisaleen Racing Club.
Winning trainer Hourigan said afterwards, "I set up Lisaleen Racing Club this year, it's a 1000e to join for the year, we hope to have 4 horses for the club, this is our 2nd runner and our 1st winner. We have about 15 or 16 members so far and hope to get about 100 members. We will probably go for a winners of one with this lad next."
