Doyle delivers on Queeny

Queeny scored her third handicap hurdle win for jockey Ricky Doyle at Fairyhouse today, landing the Book Easter Festival Tickets Handicap Hurdle for trainer Ronnie O’Leary.
Doyle, who recorded a double at Wexford a fortnight ago, today reported “her last run was her first since a wind operation; she is a bit moody and can either win or be very disappointing. We thought after the last day and with the ground being the way it was that two and a half would suit.
“I jumped off handy but she’s a mare that you have to leave go by herself. She is very good to jump but hates having anything on her outside. It suited to be out there as the best of the ground was on the outside.
“If things started happening on the outside of her you would see her stopping fairly quick but everything just went right today.”
