Doyle Off the Mark
Dunlavin, Co. Wicklow trainer, Mark Doyle sent out his first winner when Fruitful Venture completed a good day for the layers in the Littleton Mares Flat Race.
The daughter of Fruits Of Love was ridden by Niall Kelly (his fourth winner) and the 50/1 chance beat fellow outsiders, Oilily and Mountain Heather (both 33/1) by a length and three lengths.
Better ground obviously brought about the upturn in Fruitful Venture's fortunes after a couple of non-descript efforts. (EM)
