Down The Dale wins for Mulvany/Lynch
Navan based trainer Michael Mulvany saddled his Down The Dale to a surprise 40/1 win in the Tote Placepot Races 1 To 6 Maiden Hurdle at Ballinrobe today.
Ridden by Andrew Lynch, the son of Strategic Choice raced prominently throughout before moving through to lead after the second last, eventually recording a three lengths win over Totoman
Afterwards Mulvany reported “Down The Dale had been working very well, but just needs good ground. He is a real summer horse and will be left off once the ground turns soft again.”
