After a dry day yesterday and 2mm of rain overnight, the ground remains soft on the chase track at Down Royal but it's now soft, heavy in places on the hurdles track where there will be some fresh ground.
A mostly dry day is in store with a small chance of some scattered showers.
Khanmurjan, Onlyhuman and Luke Short have all been scratched from the maiden hurdle at 1.40pm due to the change in going with Mighty Potter odds-on favourite in this contest for Gordon Elliott.
The Ladbrokes Champion Chase is the big race of the weekend and that goes to post at 2.50pm while Envoi Allen reappears in the Grade 2 Join Racing TV Chase at 3.25pm.
