Double for Charles & Philip Byrnes

Charles and Philip Byrnes completed doubles when Temptationinmilan (4/1) won the William Hill Pick Your Places Handicap Chase.
There was plenty of grief in the three-mile contest and 5/2 favourite Sweet Will was in with every chance when departing three out.
The eventual winner, never far off the pace, led soon after that fence but was plenty lairy coming to the last where Galon De Vauzelle joined him. Despite pricking his ears and idling on the run-in, the seven-year-old found just enough under pressure to defeat that rival by a short head.
Winning trainer Charles Byrnes said: “He has been very consistent. Philip was a bit upset after getting unseated at Leopardstown and that makes up for it.
“He's inclined to come up very early, he's not great to go in and pop. He's inclined to stand off too much.
“It's either a feast or a famine, we haven't much for a while now. I don't think I've anything entered this week.
“He still has a mark over hurdles so he could go back over hurdles.”
