"Dosser" Compeller game in victory
The Compeller sees it out well under 'Dusty' Foley to hold The Last Marju and Pat Smullen

The Peter Jones colours have been carried by smart performers such as Tiger Royal and Flowers Of Spring in the past, and Shane Foley gave them a successful airing when victorious aboard the Ken Condon-handled The Compeller in the Follow @Thetotecom On Twitter Handicap.
An encouraging fourth on handicap debut at Killarney last week, cheek-pieces were swapped for blinkers on The Compeller, and the distance was also upped to a mile and five for the Lawman three-year-old.
Foley put it up to his four rivals from the get-go and his mount was game when The Last Marju pressed hard in the closing stages, keeping that opponent at bay by half a length.
There was a gap of fifteen lengths back to favourite Papagayo in third.
"He's a dosser and the blinkers helped him. He had a couple of good runs and we thought he could even win a maiden. He kept going well there," remarked Foley.
