James Nash's Comehere Hi vindicated the promise displayed when third at Bellewstown last week, by landing the Kilbeggan Opportunity Maiden Hurdle.
The favourite, Sam King collided with the rail and unseated Jack Kennedy after the fourth.
At the business end the Thomas Doran-ridden (his second winner) Comehere Hi got the better of Meadowlands up the straight, to prevail by four lengths.
"She was probably a bit unlucky (suffered a slipped saddle) in Bellewstown. That was a poor race and I thought her chance of winning one was gone," said Nash.
"This probably wasn't any better and when the favourite went, it made it easier again.
"She's very free and we do very little galloping with her.
"That's why she's probably improving with each run as it's the only time she does serious work.
"In fairness young Thomas gave her a very good ride. He rides her out every day at home and he knows her well."
Jacinta Keogh owns Comehere Hi, and her husband Michael bred the daughter of Gamut. The Keoghs are from Enfield.
J.W. Kennedy, rider of Sam King, trained by T.M. Walsh, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount clipped the running rail and unseated.
