Dont Kick Nor Bite gave owner JP McManus a treble at Kilbeggan when she scored in the third race on the card - the Bloomfield House Hotel Mares Hurdle.
Robert Tyner 's six-year-old eased into the lead after four out when front-running Cotton Jenny s petrol ran out.
She had the 7/4 favourite Miss Sapphire on her heels though.
Miss Sapphire made a slight mistake at the third last as Dont Kick Nor Bite and Mark Walsh kept up the gallop.
Try as the favourite might, she couldn't get on terms with the winner who saw her off by three parts of a length at 9/4.
Frank Berry, racing manager for JP McManus, said: “She jumped well and stayed well, and just got a bit tired after the last. We’ll try to find another one of those for her, and she will mix it between hurdles and fences.”
